Adivasi Ashramshala – Ratanmahal

        Ratanmahal is situated at the eastern border of Gujarat, a sloth bear sanctuary, which is an epicenter for tribal activities, of the region. The concentration of tribal population goes a high in the region of Ratanmahal. The region, is one of the most backward area. Till date there is no electricity, no roads, no drinking water with no health facilities and no education facilities. The region, is one of the most illiterate one, with very less percentage literacy rate, in case of girls the scenario is worse.

        We have established a residential own funded school, at center of Ratanmahal, which aids children from five villages, to impart education, with aim to reach the high in the life.

        We run an ashramshala for all the children of villages Pipergota, Bhuvero, Alindra, Bhindol and Panam. We have pride to say that today after ten years of our efforts we have educated five thousand students to learn and hone their skills to face today’s challenging world. Many of our students have today placed themselves as educators, administrators, sports persons and many of them are serving in government as well as private sector.

        The school itself has become a resource for local ones, as the locals have been employed at the school giving them a change to live elite.
